Two households, both alike in dignity. In fair Verona, where we lay our scene. In this timeless classic, two families, the Montagues and the Capulets, have been enemies for as long as anyone can remember. When the young Juliet Capulet and Romeo Montague meet and fall in love, they hurry to get married before their warring families find out. As sudden tragedy strikes and Romeo is ushered from Verona, Juliet’s parents push her to marry a young, rich nobleman, and the star-crossed lovers try to find their way back to one another. As the young couple navigate new love, old grudges, passion, betrayal, excitement, and sorrow, their story changes the landscape of Verona, and the relationship between the Capulets and the Montagues, forever.
