The Starlings are gearing up for two exciting projects - the fourth annual Mackinac Island Shakespeare Festival and the third annual Shakespeare on Tour! We’ll spend over three weeks bringing low-and-no-cost Shakespeare to communities throughout the Midwest, and the entire month of August performing on Mackinac Island, Michigan. We’ll once again use our signature 90-minute, 5-actor style to bring to life Shakespeare's classic shipwreck romcom - Twelfth Night - and the action-packed, sword-slinging, coming-of-age story - Henry IV, Part 1 .

We believe that theatre, especially Shakespeare, is for everyone - and it doesn't need to be as scary as it might have seemed in that 9th grade English class! Our shows delight audiences of all ages and invite viewers into the world of the play in a clear, understandable, and accessible fashion.
